Elected Leaders
The Orange County Commissioners appear to be dead set on putting the land transfer tax on the ballot this May. Apparently, they think their voting constituency is quite different from the 79% of voters across North Carolina— in 16 different counties—who soundly rejected the transfer tax last November.
